Danza Nueva XX
Danza Nueva XX Mark Foehringer Dance Project/SF premieres a new work at this 20 year old contemporary dance festival in Lima, Peru, June 12-14, 2008. This new work will be in collaboration with Ballet Nacional del Peru. MFDP/SF is representing the US in this international dance festival.

Dancing in the Park
Mark Foehringer Dance Project/SF presents and performs new and old works at this
National Dance Week celebration in Golden Gate Park on April 26th at 1 p.m. Dancing in the Park will also feature some of the bay areas professional dance companies including Stephen Pelton Dance Theater, Company C, Moving Arts, SJ Dance Co., as well as dance programs from SFSU, SF Conservatory of Dance and SJSU. This is a FREE outdoor event at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park between the De Young Museum and California Hall of Sciences off of Martin Luther King Jr. Way.
Young Choreographer's Festival
Mark Foehringer Project/SF (MFDP/SF) presents a Young Choreographer's Festival on April 26th, 2008 from Noon to 1 p.m. at the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park off of Martin Luther King Jr. way. This outdoor FREE event will feature works by young choreographer's ages 16 to 21 from through out the bay area. Come and join to see the works of these young dance artists.
Preview of Peru program
Don't miss this studio showing of Mark Foehringer's new work which will premiere in Lima at Danza Nueva XX on June 12th. Also on the program is In Fugue and Concerto Grosso. It will be held June 1st at 3 p.m. at City Dance Studio, 10 Colton Street (cross street, Brady Street), San Francisco.
Festival Opera
Mark Foehringer is working on a production of A Midsummer Night's Dream music by Benjamin Britten, under the direction of Michael Morgan with assistant direction and choreography by Mark Foehringer, scenery by Peter Crompton, lighting design by Patrick Hajduk and costume design by Susanna Douthit. It will open on August 9th, 2008 at Dean Lescher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek, CA.
